Dear HPC colleagues and friends,
This year's International Supercomputer Conference, ISC2004, was held for the 19th time in the Heidelberg Convention Center and I would like to thank all the
attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors, including especially our main sponsor AMD. Last but not least I extend my
thanks to the ISC organization team who enabled the success of this year's ISC event.
ISC2004 was very successful, we are delighted to be able to confirm a record number of participants. This year we had 442 Conference
participants (ISC2003: 426) and 70 Tutorial participants (ISC2003: 34). Additionally our idea to provide day passes for the exhibition
was very well received. Around 200 day passes were requested!
An excellent overview over the three conference days of ISC2004 has been published at Primeur Live! by Ad Emmen.
Since ISC2004 has come to an end, ISC2005 is in focus now.
ISC2005 will take place on June 21 - 24, 2005, again in beautiful Heidelberg.
